Logs and data

Does SingLinkVPN keep logs of my activity?

#

No. SingLinkVPN uses a zero-log architecture: browsing records, DNS queries, source IP addresses, and connection records are never created, so there is no such data to hand over.

Platforms
All platforms
Plans
All plans (including the Free Plan)

Zero-log does not mean "record first, delete later". The corresponding persistent logs are never created. The temporary state a node needs while you are connected, such as routes and buffers, exists only in memory and is released when the connection ends.

  • Websites visited, destination domains, and full URLs;
  • DNS queries;
  • Your original IP address;
  • Which nodes you used, connection times, and per-connection history;
  • Browsing and communication content.

Zero-log does not mean no data at all. To run your account and plan, the system keeps a virtual email address and order status, and processes service data such as cumulative traffic usage and online-device status. None of it includes which websites you visited. See what data SingLinkVPN holds.

A third-party auditor carried out a read-only no-logs review of the SingLinkVPN production environment and, within the scope and reference date stated in its report, found no evidence that any of the activity records above were persistently stored.

Do I need a real email address to register for SingLinkVPN? What data is kept, and for how long?

#

No. Registration requires no email verification and no real identity details. The account holds only a virtual email address and order status, which are permanently deleted after you stop using the service, within the period set by the Privacy Policy.

Platforms
All platforms
Plans
All plans (including the Free Plan)
  • Virtual email address: identifies the account, activates the service, and handles orders and after-sales enquiries. It does not represent your real identity and is not linked to any online activity.
  • Order status: whether a plan is active and whether a payment succeeded.

Nothing else is collected: no names, phone numbers, addresses, identity documents, or complete payment details. To count plan traffic and simultaneous devices, the system processes cumulative traffic usage and online-device status; this service data contains no destinations.

Payments are made through the independent payment channel you choose. SingLinkVPN receives only whether an order was paid. Anything you submit directly to a payment channel is handled by that channel under its own terms.

  • When a VPN connection ends, its temporary state is cleared immediately.
  • When a support chat ends, its text, images, attachments, and handling records are cleared immediately. If the issue is not yet solved, you will need to give your virtual email address or order number again.
  • An error report you choose to submit is used only to troubleshoot the issue and is deleted once troubleshooting is complete.
  • After you stop using the service (account closed, service cancelled, or last entitlement expired, whichever is latest) and the period set by the Privacy Policy has passed, the virtual email address, account identifier, subscription links, and order data are all permanently deleted.

You can also ask at any time for your account to be closed and this data deleted. Verification needs only your virtual email address and order number. Deletion cannot be undone.

Notes

Has SingLinkVPN passed a third-party security audit?

#

Yes. In July 2026, the third-party platform VPNTestor completed a security audit of SingLinkVPN and found no unresolved vulnerabilities in the listed versions and scope. The final rating was 100/100.

Platforms
All platforms

The audit covered the client apps on each platform and the web user dashboard. It checked:

  • That abnormal disconnections, network switching, and sleep and wake do not leave traffic unprotected;
  • DNS, IPv4, IPv6, and WebRTC leaks, with no consistently reproducible leaks found;
  • Account, token, and API permissions: unauthorized requests cannot obtain internal route data or read another user's account;
  • That the client stores no browsing-content or DNS-query records locally;
  • Installers, digital signatures, and update sources.

An issue in the VPN startup flow found before the audit was fixed, and the auditor retested it and confirmed it could no longer be reproduced. Later desktop releases have continued to receive version-level security checks.

A separate production no-logs review answers whether the servers record your online activity; see Does SingLinkVPN keep logs?

Notes

  • A rating of 100/100 means the versions, environments, and scope listed in the report met the scoring standard. It does not mean no future version can ever have a vulnerability, and testing continues after major updates.

Is SingLinkVPN traffic encryption secure?

#

SingLinkVPN protects data in transit with encryption and obfuscation, which makes it harder for third parties to read, identify, or analyze your traffic, and it has passed a third-party security audit.

Platforms
All platforms
Plans
All plans (including the Free Plan)
  • Encrypts the content you send and receive;
  • Hides obvious proxy-traffic patterns, lowering the chance of detection by deep packet inspection;
  • Improves connectivity on complex networks;
  • Reduces the risk of ordinary eavesdropping on public Wi-Fi.

To send all of a device's traffic through the encrypted tunnel, use Secure Mode (global proxy). Fast Mode routes only international apps through the proxy; local apps connect directly and do not go through SingLinkVPN. See Fast Mode vs Secure Mode.

For technical details of each protocol, see VPN protocols and the SingLink protocol.

Notes

  • Encryption protects data in transit; it does not replace safe habits. Avoid untrusted websites and unknown downloads, and never share your account password.
  • Install SingLinkVPN only from the official website or an official app store, and do not use modified third-party clients.

Operator and law

Where is SingLinkVPN based, and who operates it?

#

SingLinkVPN is registered and operated in the British Virgin Islands (BVI). It was co-founded by David Johnson together with technical partners from the global developer community.

SingLinkVPN nodes are spread across 150+ countries and regions rather than concentrated in one place.

The official team handles product rules, security, software updates, major incidents, and transparency. Community volunteers around the world help with day-to-day community upkeep, basic questions, translation, and testing. Volunteers are not official staff and cannot see users' virtual email addresses, orders, back-end systems, or servers. For account, order, refund, privacy, or security matters, use the official channels.

For the full operating model, see Who operates SingLinkVPN?; legal details of the service provider are in the Terms of Service.

What happens if a government or third party asks SingLinkVPN for user data?

#

SingLinkVPN creates no user activity logs, so there are no browsing or traffic records to provide. Only legal process that is valid in the British Virgin Islands is answered.

SingLinkVPN does not accept any requirement to proactively monitor, record, or retain users' online activity, and will not create logs retroactively or switch logging on temporarily to enter a market or answer a request.

If a country or region requires VPN providers to record or retain user activity, SingLinkVPN will not offer service there, or will stop offering it, rather than change its zero-log architecture.

For payments, only billing records are held (whether a payment was made, the amount, and the method), and lawful process about payments concerns only those records. Billing records contain no VPN activity data.

SingLinkVPN does not sell or rent user data, and does not disclose VPN activity, account, order, or payment data to advertisers or analytics providers.

Can I use SingLinkVPN in my country or region?

#

Whether it is legal depends on local law, so please check it yourself. If your country or region restricts or prohibits network acceleration and encryption services, do not use SingLinkVPN there.

Rules for network acceleration and encryption services differ between countries: some require a license, and some restrict or prohibit them. SingLinkVPN does not give legal advice and does not claim the service is lawful or available in any particular country or region.

Even where use is allowed, performance can vary with local network infrastructure, regulations, and ISP restrictions. Try the Free Plan first to check that it works on your network. Availability on the App Store and Google Play is decided by Apple and Google.

Notes

  • When using SingLinkVPN, follow local law and the acceptable-use rules in the Terms of Service; breaking local law or the Terms can lead to your account being restricted or suspended.
