Download and install

Where do I download the official SingLinkVPN app, and how do I spot fake apps and sites?

#

Download SingLinkVPN only from the download page on singlinkvpn.com, the App Store, Google Play or the Snap Store. Any website or app not on the official list is not ours.

Platforms
All platforms
  • Website: the main site is singlinkvpn.com. The "Official Domains and Channels" section of the Terms of Service lists every official domain, and subdomains of those domains (such as the user dashboard at dashboard.singlinkvpn.com) are official too.
  • iPhone, iPad, Apple TV: install from the App Store only. There is no direct ipa download and no configuration-profile install.
  • Android: Google Play, or the APK on the official download page.
  • Windows, macOS: the installer on the official download page.
  • Linux: the Snap Store (snapcraft.io/singlinkvpn), or the one-line install command on the official download page.

Files with the same name on third-party download sites, file-sharing drives or APK mirrors may have been repackaged, so neither their signature nor their permissions can be trusted. Apart from the official domains, social accounts and contact channels listed in the Terms, SingLinkVPN has no partner, agent or distribution channels. Any website, app or community that claims to represent SingLinkVPN but is not on that list is an unauthorized impersonation.

Notes

  • The macOS installer is notarized by Apple. If macOS blocks it on first launch, it is quite possibly not the official build: download it again from the official download page instead of turning off the system's security checks.
  • If you find a website, app or community impersonating SingLinkVPN, email us at support@singlinkvpn.com.

How do I install SingLinkVPN on iPhone or iPad, and what if the App Store does not show it?

#

Install SingLinkVPN on iPhone and iPad from the App Store. If it does not show up, your Apple Account country or region is usually outside the regions where it is listed; use accurate account and region details that meet Apple's requirements.

Platforms
iOS

The iOS app is currently listed in the App Store in selected countries and regions, which are shown in the download guide on the iOS download page. If you do not have an Apple Account, create one first. To change your account's country or region, follow Apple's official instructions; the change can depend on subscriptions, account balance, payment method and billing address.

Steps

iOS

  1. Open the SingLinkVPN listing with the App Store link, or go there from the iOS download page, and install it.

  2. Open the app and sign in with your SingLinkVPN account. If you do not have one yet, register first.

  3. On the first connection, iOS asks whether to add a VPN configuration: tap Allow, then confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. You only need to do this once.

Notes

  • The iOS app installs and updates through the App Store only, with no direct ipa download. Any site offering an iOS install file is not an official source.

How do I install SingLinkVPN on Android, and what if the APK is blocked?

#

Install SingLinkVPN on Android from Google Play or with the APK from the official download page. If the APK is blocked, allow "install unknown apps" for the browser or file manager you opened it with.

Platforms
Android
Google PlayOfficial APK
Install and updatesInstalled and updated automatically by the Play StoreDownload from the official download page; download the new APK to update
Paying for a subscriptionGoogle Play billing onlyAny of the payment methods SingLinkVPN supports

Both routes install the same app. The difference is how you can pay for a subscription, so choose before you install.

Steps

From Google PlayAndroid

  1. Open the SingLinkVPN listing with the Google Play link and install it. The Play Store keeps it updated.

With the official APKAndroid

  1. On the Android device, open the Android download page and download the APK.

  2. If the browser warns that this type of file can be harmful, confirm it came from the official site and continue.

  3. Tap the downloaded APK to open it.

  4. If Android says installs from this source are not allowed, tap Settings and turn on "Allow from this source" for that browser or file manager.

  5. Go back, finish the installation, then open the app and sign in.

  6. Afterwards, we recommend switching the "install unknown apps" permission for that source back off.

Notes

  • On the first connection, Android asks whether to allow the VPN connection. This is the system's standard consent prompt; once you approve it, a key-shaped VPN icon appears in the status bar.
  • The official APK is built for the processor architecture used by most recent phones and tablets. Some older devices, and Android emulators on computers, may fail to install it or fail to start it.
  • Install only from the official download page or Google Play. Files with the same name on third-party APK mirrors may have been repackaged.

How do I install SingLinkVPN on Windows and macOS?

#

Get the installer from the official download page. On Windows, run it; on macOS, open the dmg and drag the app into Applications. Apple silicon and Intel Macs use the same installer.

Platforms
WindowsmacOS
  • Windows: the installer is code-signed, and the download page always offers the current version.
  • macOS: one Universal installer, so there is no need to check which Mac you have. It is notarized by Apple, so Gatekeeper does not block the first launch.

Steps

Windows

  1. Open the Windows download page and download the current installer.

  2. Run the installer to finish installing.

  3. Open SingLinkVPN and sign in with your account.

macOS

  1. Open the macOS download page and download the installer.

  2. Open the dmg and drag SingLinkVPN into the Applications folder.

  3. Open the app and sign in with your account.

  4. On the first connection, macOS asks you to allow a VPN configuration to be added: allow it and confirm with Touch ID or your password. Later connections will not ask again.

Notes

  • If you pressed Don't Allow on a Mac by mistake, remove the matching VPN configuration under System Settings → Network, then connect again so macOS asks afresh.
  • Some Windows PCs need network adapter mode turned on before they can connect.
  • To start SingLinkVPN automatically when the computer boots, turn on Settings → Launch on Startup in the app.

How do I install SingLinkVPN on Linux?

#

The Linux client ships as a Snap, so there is no installer file to download: run the official one-line install command. It runs on AMD64 (Intel/AMD) and ARM64.

Platforms
Linux

If snapd is already installed, you can also run sudo snap install singlinkvpn or install from the Snap Store. In that case you have to grant the permissions for creating a VPN interface and managing routes yourself, with these three lines:

sudo snap connect singlinkvpn:network-control
sudo snap connect singlinkvpn:firewall-control
sudo snap restart singlinkvpn.core-service

Without those two permissions the app installs but cannot connect. Afterwards, launch SingLinkVPN from your applications menu or run snap run singlinkvpn.

Steps

Recommended: the one-line install commandLinux

  1. In a terminal, run sh <(wget -qO - https://singlink-downloads.pages.dev/linux/install.sh) -p singlinkvpn-gui.

  2. The script installs snapd first if it is missing (automatically on apt-based distributions; on others it points you to the snapcraft documentation), installs or updates the SingLinkVPN snap, connects the network and firewall permissions a VPN interface needs, and restarts the service. These steps need sudo.

  3. Launch it from your applications menu, or run snap run singlinkvpn.

Notes

  • To update, run the one-line install command again; the script updates the snap.
  • The Linux client is also available from the "Client Downloads" page in your user dashboard.

Can I use SingLinkVPN on Apple TV? What about Android TV?

#

Yes on Apple TV: it needs tvOS 17.0 or later, installs from the App Store on the Apple TV, and works with the Free Plan. The Android TV app is coming soon.

Platforms
Apple TV

Apple TV version 2.5.2 keeps core VPN features in line with the iOS app and updates remote navigation, account and subscription controls, device management and the help pages for TV. On Apple TV, the Free Plan's daily allowance is whatever the client shows.

Steps

Apple TV

  1. On the Apple TV, open the App Store, find SingLinkVPN and install it. tvOS installs only from the App Store on the Apple TV itself; there is no installer file to download.

  2. Open the app and sign in to your SingLinkVPN account with the remote.

  3. Open the node list, choose a node and connect. On the Free Plan, pick a node labeled "Free".

Notes

  • The Android TV app has not launched yet; watch official announcements for its release.
  • QR sign-in on the desktop apps has nothing to do with Apple TV. On Apple TV, follow the sign-in prompts on screen.

Sign-in and devices

What do I do when my SingLinkVPN device limit is full, and how do I kick other devices offline?

#

When a paid plan reaches its limit of devices online at once, go to Settings → My Devices in the app and kick a device you no longer use offline. That frees a slot for the new device.

Plans
Paid plans
PlanDevices online at once
Free PlanUnlimited devices
Fast4 devices
Plus6 devices
Pro10 devices
Max6 devices
Rich6 devices

My Devices lists where your account is signed in on every device: device name, platform, last online time, and whether it is online now. A device that is kicked offline disconnects from SingLinkVPN immediately, is signed out of the account and returns to the sign-in screen.

Steps

  1. In the SingLinkVPN app, go to Settings → My Devices.

  2. Find the device you want to remove and tap "Kick Offline" to its right.

  3. Confirm, and that device is signed out.

Notes

  • The device you are currently using does not show a "Kick Offline" button.
  • Some plans limit how many times you can kick devices offline each month; the client shows the current limit.
  • The Free Plan has no device limit, and each device gets its own daily free allowance.
  • An account is for your personal use (or internal use within your organization); do not share it with people beyond your allowed devices.
