SingLink Official Announcement: Beta Servers Hit 99.5% Connectivity, All Beta Servers Now Free, Legacy Servers in Maintenance Monday

Contents
We ran a head-to-head test comparing the brand-new Beta servers (SingLink in-house protocol) against legacy non-Beta servers (open-source protocols). The result was even more dramatic than we expected.

Protocol Comparison
| Server Type | Protocol | Connectivity |
|---|---|---|
| Beta Servers | SingLink in-house protocol | 99.5% |
| Non-Beta Servers | Open-source: VLESS / Hysteria / Trojan, etc. | 78% |
Compared with mainstream VPNs and providers, SingLink Beta servers are currently the most stable tier we've seen. This also gives us early validation that against current detection strategies, the SingLink Beta protocol is more efficient than open-source protocols like VLESS / Hysteria / Trojan.
After the wave of disconnections in April, most VPNs are left running protocol-only mode — and most of them rely on the same handful of open-source protocols. We've moved beyond that.
To be clear: the Beta protocol is our in-house upgrade built specifically against this detection wave, with traffic obfuscation as the core idea. It's not "more advanced" than open-source protocols in some absolute sense — it's just that, right now, the in-house version delivers a more reliable connection.
To everyone using SingLink: prefer servers tagged "Beta" whenever possible.
Two Things We Did
1. All Beta servers are now free
To keep everyone connected through the May holiday, we've opened up the entire Beta server fleet for free use:
| Benefit | Details |
|---|---|
| 200 MB per device per day | High-speed data, available the moment you sign up |
| Auto-reset at 00:00 next day | We plan to keep this offer running long-term |
| Designed as emergency backup | Light usage, instant fallback when your main service drops |
2. Pulling legacy servers in for maintenance
Non-Beta servers can no longer comfortably support our growing user base, and we've received a few connectivity reports recently — so we're taking them in for an upgrade:
- Non-Beta servers will be upgraded by Monday
- Other servers are not affected
- Stability will be noticeably better after the upgrade lands
Why We're Doing the Free Plan
To be honest, this is purely a labor of love.
There's been a wave of VPN and provider shutdowns in April, and there isn't much we can do about that broader situation. What we can do is open up the servers that actually work, so everyone can keep a backup VPN on their phone and computer — so you don't get cut off this May holiday.
SingLink supports free usage on mobile and desktop. Download an emergency VPN this May, and travel with one less thing to worry about.

FAQ
Q1: Is "Beta" experimental? Should I worry about stability? It's not experimental. Beta is the label we use for SingLink's in-house protocol servers. They tested at 99.5% connectivity — currently the most stable tier we offer.
Q2: Can I still use legacy (non-Beta) servers during maintenance? You may experience connectivity hiccups during maintenance — we recommend using Beta servers in the meantime. The upgrade should land by Monday.
Q3: What happens when I run out of my 200 MB? Access pauses for the day; your 200 MB resets automatically at 00:00. If you need uninterrupted usage right away, upgrade to a paid plan.
Q4: Are the free servers really no-strings-attached? Yes. Sign up and the data is yours — no credit card, no payment, 200 MB per device per day.
