First-generation protocol released in 2015
SingLink 1.0 was officially introduced in 2015. It established the basic encrypted transport, connection management and network communication framework, initially for enterprise network connectivity.
Foundation of the first-generation architecture
The first release focused on three foundations:
- Encrypted transport to protect data in transit.
- Connection management to establish and maintain sessions.
- Network communication framework for later routing, compatibility and adaptation.
Continued evolution after v1.0
The first generation subsequently added stronger encryption, traffic obfuscation, smart routing, connection stability, server scheduling, cross-platform adaptation, compatibility, privacy and security improvements. The 2024–2025 v1.9 transition release rebuilt core modules in preparation for SingLink 2.0.
Protocol versions and client versions
SingLink protocol versions describe the underlying network architecture. SingLinkVPN client versions describe application interfaces, features and release cycles. They are separate version systems, so client release dates must not replace protocol history.
